Yuichiro Shimoyanagi (下柳 雄一郎, Shimoyanagi Yūichirō) is a 3D director in Musashino Animation.

Background[]
Shimoyanagi and Ryosuke Endo are the best friends since they were taught by Saburou Kitano and the fact that they both love a lengendly anime called Space Exodus Idepon.
When producing Exodus!, due to Taro's communication failure, Endo was angry and decides to quit the job. When Aoi Miyamori invites Endo to the Idepon exhibition in order to settle his anger, Tarou Takanashi and Shimoyanagi are also there. At the end off the exhibition, Endo and Shimoyanagi finally praised each other.
After the Time Hippo incident, Shimoyanagi quits Musashino Animation, but he later comes back. When producing Air amphibious assault ship SIVA, Shimoyanagi is also the one who tries to convince Endo to accept the offer.
